Welcome from the Principal

Plattsburg High School is a family, and we care about the “whole student” just as any family cares about the development of their youth. We offer a fine opportunity for students to be involved in athletics and other activities that foster support and school pride. The Plattsburg belief of Pride, Excellence and Tradition is an expectation in our academic and as well as our extra-curricular programs.

Plattsburg High School is dedicated to insuring that all students gain a rigorous, relevant education and have a connection in what they are learning. To achieve these goals, we have implemented a strong curriculum that is aligned to the Missouri State Standards. Our faculty and staff are committed to creating an environment that is safe and academically focused. We know that learning only happens with fine instruction and reflection to make knowledge meaningful. We aspire to be the best at presenting this learning, using solid research-based instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students.

Rewards are greatest when shared in collaboration. Parents, please stay in touch with your child’s teachers and counselors. Insure that you are getting our most current information from our website. And lastly, join our parent organization or simply volunteer time on campus. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you, to work with your student, and to serve our community.
