Summer Dead Period
Summer Dead Period will be Saturday June 29 thru Sunday July 7th. The campus will be closed for all band, cheer, sport related activities. Campus will reopen and activities will resume on Monday July 8th

Current Schedule for the Make Up Days (updated 2-27-2013)
Due to snow days that we have used,the following is the current schedule for making up any days missed due to inclement weather. The May 23 and May 24 make up days would require the Board of Education to revise the existing 2012-2013 school calendar.

Applications for PreSchool are now being accepted
Ellis Elementary Preschool is accepting applications for next year. It is a licensed and accredited program. The program is a full day program that runs throughout the school year. The hours are 8:00 – 3:15. It is open the same days as the Clinton County R-III School District. The prices are $15.00/day, $6.00/day for reduced lunch, or $2.00/day for free lunch. Prices are subject to change based upon the state funding which has yet to be announced. There is also a fee for lunch and snack daily. Breakfast is optional. Children must be potty trained. They must also be 3 years of age by August 1st.

Positive Behavior Support
School Wide Behavior Support (SW-PBS) is a proactive approach to put behavior/social skills strategies in place for all students while also building in support for those at risk for and/or those who receive special education services. SW-PBS is a process for creating safer and more effective schools by structuring the learning environment to support the academic and social successes of students. The process supports the adoption and long-term implementation of efficient and effective discipline throughout the school environment. SW-PBS methods are research-based, proven to significantly reduce the occurrence of problem behaviors in schools, and supported by a three-tiered model.

Facebook Fan page and Notiifications
We will now start using Facebook for any important tidbits of information, like the daily annoucements, that pertains to our students. So if you have a Facebook account, "Like" our Fan page and you will stay up-to-date with the district. Here is the link:

We will now send out all notifications via text message and email. In order to utilize the new system, you will need to sign yourself up by using this website.
